One of the things that makes doing EFT so fun is the possibility of the “two minute miracle”. Someone has been suffering from a shame filled memory, debilitating phobia or chronic physical pain and with a few rounds of tapping it’s just gone.

That startled look, the blinking eyes, and inevitable question: “What happened? Where did it go?” have become a familiar pleasure for me. And when the pain was severe, or the phobia 25 years running, and suddenly it’s history, EFT can be positively thrilling.

But it doesn’t always work out that way.

Some issues have many aspects to resolve, and this takes time. Sometimes certain aspects of the problem are buried and may want a bit of detective work. Other problems may be straightforward, but just seem to require tenacious tapping to get anywhere. In these situations, an expectation of instant results can make it very tempting to give up.

So if you’ve been “trying” EFT and haven’t had any “two minute miracles” yet, please don’t be discouraged. Sometimes the miracles just take a little longer. Keep tapping!
